Baer is looking for Product Lifecycle Specialist for a 6+ month project located in Tampa, FL.

Title: ProductLifecycle Specialist
Location: Hybrid - Tampa, FL
Duration: 6 months
Rate: All-inclusive

Description:

• Develop work plans for new product introductions, re-formulations, re-launches, or product deletions after obtaining alignment from relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct early assessments and feasibility modelling of product innovations based on brand marketing insights, industry trends, and Florida business values.
• Facilitate and document communications regarding product introductions, deletions, and changes to all relevant stakeholders.
• Evaluate forecast quality using trend analysis, past product introductions, and commercial input to inform decision-making.
• Proactively manage and evaluate new product introductions, recommending measures of success based on business logic and executional priorities.
• Lead SKU optimization, recommending product deletions considering customer and commercial inputs using standard modelling methodology.
• Manage product flow to ensure availability for launch or inventory reduction.
• Conduct ongoing risk evaluations in the product lifecycle, including finished products and raw materials, and communicate findings to senior planning leaders.
• Manage the lifecycle process within JDA, ensuring accurate forecasting and demand migration, and submit forecasts to planning systems like Anaplan.
• Collaborate with other planners and teams (bottler to bottler, deployment, production, transportation) to integrate planning activities and processes.
• Provide direction to master data, including authorized material lists for all products.
• Forecast long-range innovation needs for promotional packaging to support demand planning, production, and procurement activities.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement of the Commercial Lifecycle process.
• Support all related demand forecast requirements and other assigned projects.
• Present information to large groups of associates regularly.
• Collaborate with Customer Management, Field Sales, and Marketing Leadership Teams to align on forecast recommendations.
• Influence others through teamwork and positivity.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and adherence to Florida cultural norms.

Requirements:

• 5 plus years of experience in Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, or Operations.
• Product lifecycle experience is highly preferred.
• Progressive role progression and scope of responsibilities demonstrated in previous roles.
• Specific experience with JDA, statistical modeling, and demand planning highly preferred.
• Ability to learn/use Company reporting sources for fact-based decision-making (e.g., Salient Margin Minder & Dashboards).
• End-to-end business understanding and business process orientation.
• APICS certification is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
