What You Will Do
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate area machines and advanced production equipment, ensuring seamless processes.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Clearly communicate performance expectations and provide direction to the team members.
  • Engage in ongoing leadership development and lean leadership education to enhance leadership competencies.
  • Lead the start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures for advanced technology equipment, ensuring quality finished products.
  • Collaborate with engineering to evaluate the effectiveness of production systems.
  • Contribute to the development of manufacturing procedures and training materials for employees.
  • Serve as the primary trainer for less experienced staff members.
  • Lead efforts to identify and eliminate waste across all production equipment and processes, from basic to advanced technology.
  • Generate improvement ideas, complete A3 reports, and facilitate Kaizen events to address operational challenges effectively.
What You Will Bring
  • Required Degree: High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Required Experience: 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency in mathematics, including the use of calculators and measuring tools
  • Ability to manage diverse, nonroutine tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Understanding of complex machinery, troubleshooting techniques, and programming modification/writing
  • Quick learning aptitude for acquiring new skills
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform repetitive tasks
