Job Summary & Job Duties

JOB SUMMARY:
Operates vacuum coating equipment and carries out associated tasks to produce coated parts and assemblies used in the Semiconductor industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Reads, interprets and implements manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, using basic mathematics skills to meet production requirements.
• Operates and maintains vacuum coating chambers to meet production requirements.
• Performs routine maintenance operations for coating and other machines, i.e. cleaning, assembly, disassembly, as prescribed.
• Loads and unloads parts in appropriate tooling and fixtures, and sets-up coating chambers for process.
• Inspects and packages parts, components and assemblies both before and after deposition process
• Collects and evaluates quality data to ensure production requirements are met. Identifies quality problems as they occur and makes appropriate corrections or engages appropriate staff.
• Maintain detailed and accurate process records
• Promotes and maintains good housekeeping and safety practices following company guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, Associates or Bachelor's degree a plus.Knowledge of 5S, Kanban, and lean manufacturing desired.
• Able to work inside Class 1000 cleanroom for extended periods.
• Strong sense of confidentiality and ethical conduct
• Computer skills: able to use ERP applications, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and the internet.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Based in the Technetics Semi, Milpitas CA location
