PROGRAM ACCOUNTANT

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO

  • Work collaboratively with the Accounting and Finance team to analyze financial data
  • Prepare a variety of financial reports
  • Create charts and graphs to improve presentation of data as well as providing solutions to accounting issues as they arise
  • Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities
  • Set up programs and charge codes in the accounting system
  • Assist with the project invoicing process and weekly revenue review meetings
  • Provide support for monthly revenue and cost entries
  • Prepare month-end program accounting related journal entries
  • As needed, assist with financial audits
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years' experience in related field
THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE
  • Data analysis - must be comfortable using software programs to process data and interpret the results through critical thinking
  • Business knowledge - solid understanding of business and operational fundamentals, especially in Accounting and Finance
  • Organization skills - capable of multitasking and managing their time well
  • Communication skills - requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with productivity tools such as Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to quickly learn industry-related regulations
