GDH Consulting is looking for a Program Manager to work in the Raleigh, NC area.

Context
  • Workplace Resources delivers workplace experiences to employees and optimizes company working capital, at scale, and with a focus on productivity and business outcomes.
  • Project Janus is a major strategic initiative for the sourcing of service providers to deliver core corporate real estate services.
Main purpose of the job:

To provide admin and program management assistance to our program management office, working mainly remotely, from home, with occasional visits to the RFP offices. The anticipated start date is 1st Jan 2023.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Global Lead Facilities management and the Global Vendor Performance Manager to manage the co-ordination of tasks, risk, and dependencies between & across projects.
  • Help create and maintain milestone plans and update checkpoint reports.
  • Arrange, run, and document (capture actions) meetings, maintain a calendar of meetings and appointments
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of accurate and effective PMO electronic systems as well as internal information management systems and databases. Assist in maintaining a filing structure using SharePoint to ensure documents are easily found and retrieved
  • Assist with large volumes of information, assisting to locate, retrieve and enter data within applications. Compiling spreadsheets, Smartsheets and accessing a range of software applications used by the PMO for the management and retrieval of data
  • Deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive reports and information.
  • Complete work to a high quality sometimes within tight deadlines
  • Co-ordinate data requests from other members of the PMO and extended team
  • Assist with the prioritization of emails and flagging items for urgent attention, preparing packs for ease of consumption
  • Assist with direct sourcing events
  • Proactively seek opportunities to provide higher quality service individually and across the PMO team
To be successful in the role you will have:
  • Knowledge and interest of the project management function
  • Previous experience of working in either a project coordination, junior PM or PMO role preferably
  • Ability to work independently
  • Pro-active can-do nature
  • Effective communication skills as we work in a geographically disperse team
Who You'll Work With

You will be part of the WPR G&V team which supports WPR globally in vendor strategy and compliance. In this role you will support the PMO focusing on strategic sourcing initiatives and the Vendor Strategy team within G&V focusing on direct sourcing activities.

Minimum Requirements
  • B.S. or equivalent degree
  • You have excellent Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills.
  • You have very strong verbal, written, presentation, and general communications skills and ability to serve in a client focused environment
  • You can collaborate cross-functionally, virtually, and in-person with an attitude of collaboration and partnership
  • You are resourceful - what you dont know, you can find out by networking and asking questions
  • You can manage/prioritize and drive the execution of multiple projects
  • You are familiar with SharePoint community creation and organization of content.
  • You know how to take disparate information and build a comprehensive story
