What You Will Be Doing -Responsible for fundamental project management tasks related to concrete including project start up, financial management, schedule management,etc.
-Manages the overall project direction, completion and financial outcome and administers both the owner and subcontractor relationships for an assigned project
-This may be done in conjunction with another Project Manager or a Senior Project Manager
- Review proposal specifications, drawings, pre-bid meetings and visit project sites to determine scope of work required in preparing bid/estimate proposal.
- Determine labor, equipment and material requirements to complete project and use information to prepare bid/estimate proposal.
- Submit complete bid/estimate proposals to project owners, managers and/or general contractors in a timely and professional manner, provide any clarification on information submitted as needed.
- Provide current and potential customers/clients prompt professional service including design, planning and pricing assistance.
What You Need for this Position - Minimum 5-8 years estimating experience (Strong technical and/or quantity surveying ability considered.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
- Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record.
- College degree preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience
