Proposal Analyst

• The Proposal Analyst will play a key role in the direct impact of the team's outcomes
• This is an individual contributor role on a tight-knit team of strategic bid specialists in our Strategic Bid Center and will serve as a central point of ownership for business statistics
• Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the maintenance of our database of statistics and response to requests needed for the bid management and proposal/presentation support of our Investment Solutions
• You will support cross-functional pursuit teams that include sales professionals, consultants and subject matter experts, on an assigned project basis

We will count on you to:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and analysts to build a new repository for investments statistics across all of Mercer Wealth sub-businesses
• Validate data before release for internal or external usage
• Act as the central point of contact for all stats questions from within Wealth
• Provide RFP/presentation assistance by answering the stats questions within RFPs and researching one-off stats needs for deals
• Assist in responding to industry surveys

What you need to have:

• Education: BS/BA Degree (Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related)
• Technology: Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
• Prior experience maintaining Excel databases and formulating data into usable information
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities
• Close attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture
• High sense of personal accountability and self-motivation

What makes you stand out:

• Experience in marketing, sales, and/or proposal management - professional services or consulting industry a plus!
• Strong background in statistics or mathematics
• A thirst for knowledge and passion for trying new things
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Qvidian or online bid procurement tools (such as Ariba)

The applicable base salary range for this role is $48,200 to $96,500.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
