JOB DESCRIPTION

QA Data Administrator

This position is responsible for supporting the QA Group by communicating with the sales and technical field personnel on warranty claims repairs, entering data for dispatching service orders for warranty claims repairs, and following through to completion and closing out of the claim.

Creatively and professionally represent the organization through both written and verbal communication with customers, representatives, managers, and internal personnel. Must have the ability to communicate any trends to the proper parties so that appropriate action can be taken. Ability to maintain accurate records, recognize errors, and offer solutions and recommendations which will improve efficiencies

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:

• Primary Focus is on the data entry into WTI's database, with a high level of review for spelling and grammatical corrections.

• Ensure information is checked, accurate, thorough and approved, and filed in accordance with company quality and compliance with standards

• Ability to operate multiple data systems, including SAP, OLI, and Leak Tracking

• Ability to multi-task depending on present priorities.

• Direct involvement with Field Supervisor & Sales Rep in gathering & transferring roof data and follow-up on service orders for warranty claims.

• Interface with various departments for supporting information.

• Interface with Customers as needed.

• Provide accurate reports as directed.

• May be given special projects and/or assignments that are determined necessary for the efficient and effective completion of business objectives.

• Must be well organized and able to keep clear, concise, accurate records.

• Must take initiative to look for areas of improvement.

• Perform other duties as required

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Prior experience in data entry or data management, using various operating systems. Ability to check information for quality of input.
  • Strong organizational, written, and communication skills
  • Team-based and fast-paced work environment
  • Overtime required as needed to meet deadlines
  • Competencies include: Technical capacity, thoroughness, learning orientation, and project management skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Word & MS Excel
  • Experience with SAP a Plus
  • Travel on some occasions may be required for company meetings. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
