Basic Job Functions:

  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching and accountability to the Quality Service Department.
  • Lead backcharge negotiations and ensure that field claims are handled timely, correctly, and with best solution or outcome for the customer and the division.
  • Manage RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and CA (Corrective Action) tracking and accountability.
  • Coordinate with the other department leads and supervisors to grow NIPG's quality culture.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining SOPs, and training the QS team to those SOPs.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining Claims systems, metrics, dashboards and reporting.
  • Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years' experience in Construction or Construction related field.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Associates Degree or Bachelor's in Business, Construction, or Engineering related fields.
  • Formal negotiation training / coursework.
  • Experience leading teams as team lead, supervisor, or project lead.
