We are seeking a dedicated, self-motivated R&D Scientist for our operation in Canton, MI.

Please apply if you are qualified to successfully accomplish the following:

  • Assist with design projects involved in development projects for new product formulation, new product procurement and product improvement.
  • Participate as a member of design teams in R&D projects, assisting with development and execution of design protocols, method development and validation.
  • Gathering pre-development information, actively search for best-in-class technologies
  • Support R&D projects by participating in meetings and sharing technical information
  • Assist in evaluation of new products and/or raw materials
  • Assist in gathering data for FDA 510K submissions
  • Perform quality control testing for LCMS Products and Clinical Chemistry
  • Provides technical support for internal and external customers with new custom products from quoting through customer receipt.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Current knowledge of in vitro diagnostics laboratory technologies
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field, or a two-year degree with 2 or more years of experience.
  • Experience with a variety of instrumentation & manual methods

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience with two years management experience; or minimum of 5 years of experience in production or logistics management.
