Chedraui USA is searching for an experienced Recruiter to support our Distribution Center located at 12434 4th Street, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730.

SUMMARY

The Recruiter reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager is is responsible for sourcing candidates for our Distribution Center/Supply Chain positions and supporting our Store Support Center (corporate) and Store positions when needed. This position supports recruiting across all brands of Chedraui USA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Works with Talent Acquisition Manager to develop recruiting plans for open positions and is responsible for execution of those plans.
  • Ensures proper documentation is completed to validate new and open positions through the requisition process.
  • Prepares, distributes and tracks internal job postings. This includes corporate email blast and intranet posting, as well as posting on the store portal.
  • Works with Talent Acquisition Manager on external job postings for job boards or external ads.
  • Sources candidates through a variety of recruitment methods such as social media sites, LinkedIn (Recruiter), Indeed, Zip Recruiter or through related industry job boards and networking events.
  • Responsible for monitoring and responding to recruiting email and voice mail messages.
  • Reviews employment applications and online resumes and assesses applicant's qualifications.
  • Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and job expectations, company policies, promotional opportunities and other related information.
  • Refers qualified applicants to hiring managers and screens, interview candidates of interest.
  • Assists with reference checks from previous employers or from candidate referrals.
  • Coordinates travel arrangements for applicants.
  • Assists in preparing offer letters.
  • Coordinates pre-employment drug screens, and criminal and educational background checks for corporate, supply chain associates or store candidates.
  • Coordinates new hire orientation or onboarding communication to the candidate.
  • Prepares reports with status on open positions and candidate statuses.
  • Keeps track of applicants not selected for employment. Utilizes metrics for effectiveness of recruiting practices.
  • Tracks turnover of positions and analyzes turnover data to strategize potential recruiting gaps.
  • Coordinates temporary help from stores, agencies, or independent contractors, and ensures proper documentation is completed to validate temporary positions through the requisition process.
  • Assists Talent Acquisition Manager with hiring events, which includes planning, coordinating supplies and possibly being on-site to assist with screening and interviewing.
  • Assists SVP and VP of Human Resources, as needed.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Must be able to be flexible with availability to meet the needs of a candidate's availability.
  • May have other duties as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (AA), three years human resources experience with preferably two to three years' experience in supply chain or corporate recruiting experience or combination of education and experience required.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have good computer skills and be proficient with the MS Office suite of programs. Prior experience with a HRIS system like Dayforce, ADP is a plus. Must have experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Cornerstone a plus.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must have excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate multiple job searches.

Must have excellent customer service skills and respond timely and courteously to all internal and external customers.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 annually. The actual starting pay will be determined by a number of qualifications; including, experience and relevant skills.
