- Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdowns
- Train refrigeration and maintenance techs on equipment
- Follow-up on parts inventory and outstanding POs
- Fill in for absenteeism or assisting in other areas of plant

Description
This posting is for the Refrigeration Maintenance position at the Clarksville, AR complex. This position will be scheduled for 1st shift. The base pay of this position will be commensurate with experience, between $20.25 and $28.90.

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks
Refrigeration Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping equipment running to maintain continuous production. You must be willing set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be willing to stand on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.

Requirements
Refrigeration Maintenance positions require one year of experience in mechanic or maintenance work or the equivalent certification from a technical school.

This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
