This position will ensure the implementation of core Community Engagement programs across the chapter network through a regional support model. The position will partner with chapter staff to maximize distribution of newly diagnosed resources, enhance chapter pipeline development, advance Community Engagement priorities through field implementation and increase activation by creating a consistent supporter experience across the field. This position will also manage a set of national Community Engagement programs, including program development, resource creation, project management and implementation.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advance strategic priorities to meet Community Engagement department objectives and KPIs specific to:
    • Reaching a larger and more diverse group of potential supporters
    • Activating and retaining more people to drive mission progress
  • Provide chapter support for Community Engagement programs within a designated region, including staff onboarding and thought partnership to maximize programs and drive supporter activation
  • Ensure consistency of implementation of priority Community Engagement programs within chapter network through management of national guidelines and expectations, consistent communication with chapter partners, coaching to assist with program development and execution and the creation of identified resources
  • Support and optimize newly diagnosed resources to expand distribution through healthcare provider partnerships, increase acquisition and activate resource recipients in mission activities
  • Manage a set of core national programs that engage volunteer leadership to provide support and resources to the T1D community, including program development, volunteer management, resource development, communications, trainings and guidelines for chapter implementation
  • Utilize department and organizational tools to track and measure defined KPIs, including regular ROI reporting and data analysis to identify trends, strengths and opportunities for growth at both the national and chapter levels
  • Solicit feedback from chapters and work within the national Community Engagement team to identify challenges and offer solutions

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5 years of transferable experience (recent non-profit experience preferred)
  • Successful track record of managing volunteer-focused program and fundraising strategies
  • Familiarity with Chapter related organizations
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate at multiple levels within organization; national, regional and chapter
  • Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Competency with online systems, such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office
  • Domestic travel may be required

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required

Target Salary: $65-80k
