Title:  Regional Director, International Education - EMEA

Reports to:  VP, International Education

Location: Remote, anywhere in USA, Europe, Middle East or Africa

Job Summary
The Regional Director of International Education EMEA works closely with the VP, International Education, oversees and supports all Education Practice related matters and initiatives for EMEA.  This includes ensuring quality service and support for all EMEA partners and supporting the VP, International Education as assigned to grow the education business in this area.    

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage our licensee relationships in EMEA. This includes overall management of the partner but also coordinating with other functions in the division to make sure partner needs are being met.
  • Support partner sales, and ensure they reach or exceed minimum revenue goals.
  • Hold regular strategic planning sessions with partners.
  • Track and report all partner goals and metrics to VP Int’l Ed.
  • Train partners on the sales and marketing of our solutions.
  • Plan regional events to support partners.
  • As assigned, seek out new partners for open territories.
  • Negotiate partner agreement renewals as directed by VP Int’l Education.
  • Visit partners in the region as assigned to train, support and evaluate partner performance and quality of work.
  • Ensure partners have everything they need to succeed in the areas of coaching, certification, marketing materials, and localized products by working with other members of the Int’l Ed team.

 

Key performance Metrics are Partner Revenue/Royalty generated to FC and # of Leader in Me Schools

 

Desirable Experience: (any of these are positives)

  • Experience in K-12 Education sales a big plus.
  • Managing international partner relationship experience.
  • International work experience or past overseas residency.
  • Knowledge of Global or EMEA Education markets.
  • Second or third language capability (EMEA related languages).
  • Former educator experience.
  • Knowledge of FC content especially Education content (LIM).
  • Negotiating license agreements.
  • Sales and/or marketing experience.

 



This position requires 7-10 plus years’ experience in a related field or similar position. Prior experience working with international partners and teams and working with diverse languages and cultures is preferred.    

 

Experience in sales, marketing and related support functions is strongly preferred.  Work experience must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of operating systems and processes, excellent service/sales skills, ability to form strong cross-functional relationships and ability to improve work processes. 

 

Must be able to work independently and in small teams and possess the ability to get a job done performing all tasks, large and small, with minimum supervision. Due to time zone differences, work hours may vary greatly from day to day and week to week. Must be able to work early mornings and nights as needed depending on your time zone of residence. You may balance your work hours accordingly. Organization skills with high attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.
