POSITION SUMMARY

Specific Responsibilities:

Research Associate II - Cell Line and Advanced Cellular Model Banking We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to support the centralized cell banking and distribution team for Research and Early Development. The focus will be to use a variety of culturing techniques to expand bank Quality Control characterize and distribute advanced cellular models within Research. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in culturing a variety of cell lines and advanced cellular models molecular biochemical techniques and some automation experience. The candidate will be expected to frequently interact and communicate with other groups as part of a diverse and multidisciplinary team. Requirements: BS/MS or PhD in life sciences Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture 4 years or more 2 years or more of hands-on experience with optimizing scaling up of cell lines organoids and iPSCs 2 year automation experience In depth knowledge of cell lines and advance model QCs - karyotyping tri-lineage differentiation pluripotency testing mycoplasma authentication Adept with FACs IF staining RT-PCR biochemical assays DNA RNA extraction Familiar with LIMS and proficient with database maintenance Clear oral communication and interpersonal skills are required

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $40 - $45 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
