Overview

i3 has an exciting opportunity for a Research Physicist to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division. The TEWD's mission is to protect the warfighter from emerging threats by advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, and testing microwave and millimeter wave systems.
  • Experience with RF countermeasure systems (e.g. DRFM, towed decoy).
  • Experience with RF test equipment (e.g. network analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
  • Experience with flight test of RF countermeasure systems.
Desired:
  • Experience with radar and guidance systems.
  • Experience with optical systems (i.e. fiber optics) and associated equipment (e.g. fusion splicers, power meters).
  • Experience writing technical reports.
Security Clearance
  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
