Job Status: Part-Time
-Answer incoming calls promptly and provide callers with hotel information and accommodations.
-Convert telephone inquiries into reservations, maintaining acceptable performance statistics.
-Gather detailed caller information and create leads for follow-up as part of outbound calling program. Meet goals set for Navis Outbound call production.
-Cross sell Oahu, respond to properties and assist with relocations when needed.
-Know, understand and utilize reservations systems of the property, CRO and virtual phone systems.
-Book reservations accurately and efficiently utilizing telephone, internet, group booking fax, room lists and the other forms of reporting.
-Enter confirming and modifying telephone, facsimile and e-mail reservations into appropriate database.
-Assist with entering individual and group reservations in the system, specifying billing instruction and securing all payments as outline on group contract.
-Address guest and vendor questions or concerns independently.
-Assist with loading group rooming lists, assigning rooms, specifying billing instructions and securing final payments in full prior to group arrival.
-Processing advance deposits.
-Perform daily reservations audit for the next days arrivals.
-Process commissions at regularly assigned property(s).
-Adhere to property and company policies and procedures.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Position requirements:
-High School degree/diploma or equivalent additional experience.
-One or more years of experience in hospitality reservations.
-Computer proficiency and ability to operate facsimile and copy machines.
