EUROFINS EATON ANALYTICAL has a Scientist I opening at our Monrovia Laboratory. This is a full time entry level position, 40 hours/week.
Eurofins Eaton Analytical, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a Scientist in Monrovia, CA. This position will be with our Microbiology department.
Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Routine coliform and HPC analysis
- Perform AOC, Legionella, Enterococcus, Pseudomonas analysis
- Quality Control responsibilities
- Perform data process, data entry and written documentation and validation
- Perform client notification
- Media making tasks
- Excellent aseptic technique
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent attention to details
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Two years of college level sciences courses preferably with labs
- Weekday/weekend position with possible overtime and holidays if necessary
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
This is a full-time entry level position, Monday - Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 08:00p.m. (40 hours per week) with rotating weekends and some holidays.
Training Schedule: Monday - Friday 09:30 a.m.to 06:00p.m
The Salary range for this position is $20-$24 / hour depending on level of experience.
Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Pomona, California are encouraged to apply.
This position is required to be onsite. It is not a remote position.
