DraftKings is searching for a Senior Compliance Manager to support the company's compliance and risk initiatives. This person will manage DraftKings' compliance program and have a hand in many important projects including, but not limited to, issue management, policy maintenance and development, regulatory change management and compliance training. This highly collaborative role will advise and guide the business and operational areas in the evaluation and development of effective internal compliance controls, program governance, and process improvements. What you'll do as a Senior Compliance Manager:

  • Participate in new product and project meetings providing compliance and risk advice, as well as ongoing information about new and changing regulatory developments
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners to promote an effective and synchronized approach to risk management and compliance
  • Oversee the development and assignment of compliance training program
  • Advise on compliance with laws and regulations applicable to DraftKings, including gaming and non-gaming, including consulting on the design and implementation of key strategic initiatives
  • Ensure that compliance issue remediation efforts are sufficient and timely; Review action plans and remediation documentation to support event closure; Participate in root cause analysis and the identification of customer experience improvement activities
  • Prepare for and coordinate third-party examinations, including ensuring that information requests from external auditors and regulators are completed timely and accurately
  • Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments and monitor compliance risk metrics, leveraging a GRC tool
What you'll bring:
  • 7+ years compliance experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Compliance or Risk Management certifications such as CAMS, CIPP, or CRCM preferred
  • Experience in the design and implementation of compliance programs
  • Strong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Proven ability to interpret and provide guidance on laws, rules and regulations
