Senior Cost Accountant - Remote (Must work EST hours)

We are currently working with a global pharmaceutical company in the greater Boston area seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join their team. This position will start as a contract position. The Senior Cost Accountant role will review actual supply chain and manufacturing spend, develop commentary and provide cost and reserve recommendations. Additionally this role will be responsible for:

• Analyze and collect data to determine costs of commercial and clinical inventory such as raw materials, direct costs and overhead.
• Manage external audit deliverables related to inventory and cost of sales.
• Provide management with key performance indicators for decision making purposes.
• Partner with the Head of Inventory and Cost Accounting on various assignments dealing with the routine and daily operations of inventory accounting.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications -

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance preferred!
• 5+ years focused in inventory and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment is a plus!
• Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, excel) is preferred!
