This position is intended to provide services to our client supporting the Radar Software Product Line (RSPL), including AMDR, EASR and LTAMDS. The radar software applications are developed using C++ and Java programming languages running Linux or UNIX operating systems on a variety of computing platforms. The teams employ an Agile Scrum process to rapidly design, code, integrate and test capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature software solution.

The candidate will be an active participant on the Scrum team, performing development tasks independently. This successful candidate will employ their understanding of real-time software design to recognize the performance implications associated with specific detail implementations.

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or relevant STEM degree.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the field of engineering
  • Experience with C++
  • Experience in high performance, multi-threaded embedded software
  • Experience with RTOS such as VxWorks, FreeRTOS, LynxOS or Integrity
Following are the desired requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Agile/SCRUM development methods
  • Prior experience with DoD environment developing radar systems
  • Experience in building and deploying embedded solutions
  • Experience in developing applications for Microblaze, Nios or similar soft-core processing platforms
  • Design experience in receiver, exciter, waveforms and digital beamforming
  • Experience using MATLAB
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Software Engineering
Applicant will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access.
