Our client is seeking a Senior Fullstack .NET Engineer in New York, NY / Seattle, WA.

Role Description

• Demonstrated leadership ability in aligning team's mission and vision
• Demonstrate expert level proficiency in the team's technical stacks and cultivate an in-depth understanding of the business domain
• Continually deepening understanding of the business domain and adjacent domains.
• Drive initiatives towards the development and maintenance of efficient, scalable, and secure enterprise-grade systems through the entire software development lifecycle.
• Championing the scaling and optimization of event driven systems and Kafka clusters
• Offer advanced mentorship to team members who aim to deepen their understanding in specific technical stacks, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.
• Drive initiatives for troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing system performance, stability, and security, providing solutions and improvements proactively.
• Lead and implement enhancements to engineering workflows and processes to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Champion the facilitation of cross-functional collaboration, ensuring comprehensive and cohesive solution development strategy and delivery.
• Leading adoption of new technologies and patterns, providing insights and recommendations, and mentoring junior engineers
• Partnering with cross functional teams, product, and architects, actively contributing to the design and architecture of the product by offering informed suggestions and ideas
• Lead communication efforts with the team and stakeholders to clarify requirements, apply system thinking and ensure alignment across different products.

Skills & Requirements

• 8+ years of experience delivering user-facing, enterprise-grade software solutions in a cloud environment.
• Strong experience in a healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standards for sharing healthcare information electronically is preferred
• A 4-year engineering degree, and advanced degrees or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Expertise in multiple programming languages with an emphasis on .NET, C#, and SQL, and a proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to modern technologies.
• Demonstrated history of effectively solving complex problems in dynamic, fast-paced environments with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD practices, automated testing, and implementing these best practices at scale in large projects
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a demonstrated history of applying these practices effectively.
• Proven experience mentoring mid-level engineers, with a focus on developing the next generation of engineering talent.
• Expected to have a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems before they can affect business timelines.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Experience with event-driven architecture principles, and Apache Kafka
