Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of
Senior Java Developer within our team.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent ability to understand the requirements and implement them as directed without dependency on other team members or leads.
- Develop Java EE applications with well-designed code, which is reusable, maintainable, and easy to understand (efficient code) and has excellent Problem-solving and code debugging abilities
- Excellent knowledge of Java design patterns and implementation as needed.
- Javadoc must be written for every method, and class with a proper and detailed explanation
- Hands-on experience in developing data service layers with JPA
- Complete the day-to-day tasks on time and deliver as promised
- Ability to write SQL queries, DDL & DML
- Experience in writing the JUnit
- Technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience.
- Strong aptitude to learn and adapt to technology
- Ability to communicate clearly with all levels in an organization Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in dynamic team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering (or related field), or relevant, related work experience.
- Hands-on experience in Java/JEE (including spring batch, spring boot etc.) with an understanding of time-critical projects with strict deadlines. Excellent knowledge of Java design patterns and implementation as needed. - the ability to develop User Interface pages using Prime Faces and developing data service layer with JPA, writing JUnit and write SQL queries, creating views and stored procedures as needed.
- 7+ years of experience with Core Java / J2EE backend development.
Desired Skills:- Excellent ability to understand the requirements and implement as directed with less or no dependency on others. Experience working in State and/or Public Sector domain. Experience in Azure DevOps.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $80,800 to $129,300.
