Description

Humana's Resolution Learning & Development is looking for a Senior Learning Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor primarily responsible for designing highly impactful learning solutions for new employee audiences. You will assess, design, develop and evaluate high visibility blended learning curricula, learning courses and performance support tools for a very complex New Hire Resolution Team audience. You will also provide thought leadership on learning industry best practices, agile development, innovative design methodologies and tools to drive engaging learning experiences that enhance new hire capabilities.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build and deliver as needed instructionally sound (ADDIE; AGILE) curriculum journeys, courses, programs and other educational resources (video; ILT, web course, virtual) that result in the development of skills and abilities
  • Filter incoming training and learning requests, scope the project, create a delivery timeline and work collaboratively to determine the best method for delivering the training
  • Conduct learning assessments to determine scope, audience and the most effective, engaging learning activities and course design that aligns with Humana, Inc. goals, operating principles and competencies
  • Develop dynamic, experiential learning session designs, including macro designs based on content, and training scripts
  • Facilitate (ILT, webinars, VILT, etc.) learning solutions
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five or more years of technical experience
  • Prior demonstrated capability leading teams and developing and maintaining a dynamic and high performing team culture
  • Progressive business and financial analytics experience with a focus on learning strategies and adult learning theories
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work and communicate constructively with all levels of the organization (Department leaders, managers, individual contributors, learning peers)
  • Technical proficiency in course authoring tools, such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.
  • Technical skills in virtual training platform and live training session delivery, such as such as Webex, Zoom, and Teams
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Utilize a variety of technical tools and multimedia to create engaging learning solutions, which may consist of eLearning courses, virtual ILTs, interactive videos, job aids, etc.
  • Master's Degree or certificate in one of the following areas: Instructional Design, Learning and Performance
