The Diagnostics (Dx) C&S Marketer will be a member of the Zoetis US Dx Customer Experience Marketing Team responsible for successful concepting, development and execution of strategic and tactical commercial plans with our Corporate & Specialty partners. These plans are designed to advance the partnership between the Zoetis Dx portfolio solutions and our C&S customers and driving growth for the organization. This individual will be laser focused on executing against the Dx organization's strategic imperatives of protecting our base, acquiring new C&S accounts, and growing our existing C&S customers. This will require an understanding of our customers, the Dx market segment, insights drawn from market research and experiences, performance data, industry trends and customer needs, our commercial team activities and strategies, and Zoetis Dx go-to-market customer engagement strategy. This leader will be accountable for all C&S Dx marketing plans.

The success of this role is largely dependent upon -

  • Excellent working relationship with Sales, Marketing, C&S, Medical and Product Management teams
  • Understanding and exceptionally executing Marketing leadership responsibilities
  • Elevating the overall effectiveness of marketing pull-through among colleagues with successful upstream/downstream communication in the C&S space
  • Understanding and advocating for the Voice of the Customer while being a champion of customers' experience with Zoetis
  • Knowing all key stakeholders on the veterinary healthcare team
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and what competes for our customers' attention
  • Command of the extensive Zoetis Dx Portfolio, including above brand programs, messaging, and communications
  • Ability to work across teams and groups as a true partner, including the ability to synthesize and connect key tactical elements across teams and other internal key stakeholders
  • Understanding how internal and external key stakeholders intersect with our customers, maximizing opportunities
  • Aptitude with which to make thoughtful decisions in real-time
  • Connecting the dots between functions
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and optimization of the customer experience and communication engagement across marketing

Responsibilities
  • Marketing Leader on C&S Leadership Team
    • Execute Marketing leadership responsibilities on the Dx C&S Leadership Team (Sales, Marketing, Technical)
    • Aid in formation/execution of C&S operating plan, and partner programs
    • Assist in successful execution of marketing campaigns
    • Increase utilization of marketing materials and key assets
    • Amplify messaging of core marketing strategies in targeted accounts and leading development of marketing resources (as needed) to meet objectives
    • Responsible for elevating the overall effectiveness of marketing pull-through across C&S accounts
  • Marketing Bridge between Marketing and C&S Leadership Team
    • Clearly develop marketing plans for Dx C&S and communicate marketing strategy
    • Assist in successful execution of marketing programs and campaigns
    • Facilitate upstream/downstream communication between Portfolio Marketing and C&S Sales Leadership
  • Marketing Partner to Strategic Growth Team supporting C&S
    • Execute interface with limited, select, non-corporate customer accounts to provide a concierge marketing experience as led by and in partnership with Strategic Growth Team partner for the C&S opportunity
    • Indirect P&L responsibility
    • Aid in formulation on long-term marketing strategy and resulting marketing plans by C&S account, as well as implementation to drive growth for in-line and launch brands

Education and Experience
  • Experienced professional with regard to managing partnerships, budget, colleague interactions, project management, deliverables, and deadlines
  • Excellence in strategic marketing, portfolio/brand management, marketing/finance principles and marketing plans
  • 5+ years experience in marketing with a strong track record
  • 2+ years sales experience
  • 2+ years working with Corporate and Specialty accounts or equivalent experience
