Based in Irvine, CA, we are an exciting startup in the respiratory illness medical device space. Our current headcount is about 15, and we are looking to double that in the next year. We have a team of industry leaders and SME's on our board and it is time to bring on a talented Senior V&V Engineer to assist our engineering team. What You Will Be Doing - Writing product verification plan according to product design specification.
- Writing product validation plan according to user input.
- Conduct verification testing and summarize in report.
- Performing DOE (design of experiments).
- Recording Lab Notebook write-ups.
- Leading test method validations.
- Performing laboratory testing and supporting R&D projects.
- Writing and executing installation, operational and performance qualification protocols/reports.
- Developing standard operating procedures for use of equipment.
- Assisting and training other engineers/staff with use of equipment.
What You Need for this Position 3-5+ years of experience in the following:

- Hands-on product verification & validation experience in medical device
- Medical device industry (ISO 13485 regulated)
- Standard testing, formal V&V, protocol development, requirement analysis

- IEC 60601 design and testing
- Electro-mechanical testing
- Developing product verification plan
- Respiratory therapy is a huge plus

- JAMA/JIRA experience is a huge plus
- Performing DOE (design of experiments)
- Equipment qualifications and/or quality system
- Laboratory testing and supporting R&D projects
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (EE or Biomedical)
