Description
As a Senior Project Manager (SPM), the incumbent will lead complex multidisciplinary programs and projects with numerous cross-functional teams. They will review requirements with internal stakeholders, compile data, and support senior product area PM's in developing business cases for approval through the project lifecycle.
As an SPM with MEP Infrastructure design experience, they will support program-wide initiatives led by program subject matter experts in the area of physical network infrastructure, and provide program level support for all disciplines related to specifically assigned data center MEP infrastructure design requirements. They will also be responsible for identifying risks and gaps that exist within the existing system infrastructure designs, and will be responsible for effectively communicating to all program stakeholders and network area tech leads. The SPM will work with site level program managers to develop project plans, provide status on individual projects, and develop reports to both stakeholders and senior management for communication of status, risks and decisions needed to continue driving active programs and projects. These tasks will include, but are not limited to:
● Drive routine project meetings (kickoffs, weekly program, status review), manage project resources, and manage multiple concurrent projects to completion per chartered target dates, take meeting minutes and distribute
● Leads cross-functional project teams composed of R&D, Engineers, Operations, Quality and Safety.
● Run multiple projects from inception through completion
● Interface with stakeholders from different organizations to develop scope, technical requirements and execution plans for new projects (taking an ambiguous requirement and developing an executable plan)
● Set and manage expectations with internal and external teams to deliver the intended project scope, on time and on budget per project goals
● Collect, analyze, and manage data from individual sites to generate reports to stakeholders and management teams
● Assist with the enhancement of documentation related to process, MOPs, schedule templates, reports, and communication plans
● Assist with cost analysis for programs that require value engineering
● Supports Business Reviews and any preliminary or interim reviews related to the project through the reporting Technical Program Manager.
● Provide documentation updates. Including but not limited to site page, BOD, user design guides.
● Track issue tickets and update design trackers (i.e. BIM360, bounty)
