We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test with extensive Cloud experience to help design the future of Trifacta by Alteryx. We are building modern data tools on Cloud for a large variety of users and business needs in a complex and dynamic context. Responsibilities

• Set up the target test environments in AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  
• Analyze requirements to produce a comprehensive test strategy and detailed test cases.
  
• Review technical design documents and provide timely feedback
  
• Promote a culture of rigorous automated testing
  
• Evaluate bug escapes, perform root cause analysis, debug customer issues, and champion changes to improve user experience
  
• Perform manual testing as needed
  
• Contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of QA
  
• Mentor junior engineers
  

Required skills:

• Must have experience with SaaS and Cloud-based environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  
• Must have experience with Container-based systems
  
• Experience with design and implementation using Object-oriented languages
  
• Must have experience with Linux and any of the Shell scripts
  
• Experience with Frontend UI as well as API automation
  
• Experience with white box testing
  
• Experience with working in an agile environment
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  
• Experience with Relational databases
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate successfully with both local and global teams

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  
• Experience with performance and scalability testing
  
• Experience with tuning MySQL or PostgreSQL
  
• Experience with Selenium/Webdriver
  
• Experience with Python
  
• Experience with TestRail
  
• Experience with data analysis
