Overview

Amtrust Financial Services, a fast growing commercial insurance company, has an immediate need for a Senior Sourcing Specialist. The successful candidate will provide proactive recruitment and support for all Senior Level positions throughout AmTrust North America. The successful candidate will work to provide hands-on passive sourcing and recruitment for internal client groups with senior level recruitment needs. This individual will support Executive Recruiting across the organization to source, assess, and recruit candidates for openings at a Senior level. Develop and implement innovative and cost effective recruiting strategies for positions. Work with other members of the Recruiting Team on corporate wide recruitment projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Passive sourcing and recruitment to include: passive sourcing and searching, heaving cold calling, interviewing, and candidate presentation.
  • Support Executive Recruiting and Senior level positions across the organization.
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research, sourcing and on-going relationship management.
  • Pro-active market mapping and passive talent pipelining.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Director and the Senior Talent Acquisition Team to develop recruiting strategies to identify top talent.
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level vacancies.
  • Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to quickly assess business needs, determine candidate profile and launch a thorough hiring strategy.
  • Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of senior level recruiting or sourcing experience required in corporate or agency environment
  • Experience with passive sourcing, cold calling, market mapping and creating talent pipelines.
  • Proficiency using ATS systems and meeting goals in a metric driven environment
  • Prior experience recruiting and or sourcing for analytics, underwriting, claims, financial services, and technology positions.
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and clients.
  • Proven aptitude to execute in a changing professional environment.
  • Possess a wide range of experience on current corporate recruiting policies, practices, and industry trends.
  • Strong knowledge of basic employment law, OFCCP guidelines and HR practices.
  • Experienced in behavioral based interviewing, and other innovative selection methods.
  • Able to assess staffing needs and develop creative and effective recruiting strategies to meet those needs.
  • Aptitude in assessing intangible aspects of candidates accurately, ability to asses a candidate's culture add within a position and or department.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work with all levels of management.
