ECS is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer to work in our Fairfax, VA office.

In this role you will support our Cybersecurity Managed Services groups ServiceNow instance and Customer Portals. As administrator, developer, and application specialist you are meeting the needs of the business through ServiceNow functionality. The scope of responsibilities include primarily the management and continuous improvement to Strategic Portfolio Management, IT Service Management, and Customer Service Management products.

Administrator responsibilities (25% of time):

  • Coordinate and facilitate platform configuration, resources, and updates and upgrades.
  • Responsible for instance stack, day-to-day support, system upgrades, integrity and overall health and performance.
  • Knowledge of organization's roadmap, and key member of project teams to achieve goals.
  • Oversee instance security including access control, accounts, groups, roles and delegated development
Developer responsibilities (40% of time):
  • Translate business requirements, map the user flow and investigate the best possible technical options.
  • Create new applications and user experiences, automate processes, and make changes to existing applications.
  • Help test, troubleshoot and ensure a smooth upgrade of the instance.
  • Collaborate to find the best solutions for the business.
Application Specialist responsibilities (25% of time):
  • View trends, predictions, breakdowns, and associated records for detailed performance analysis.
  • Use real-time, in-platform data as your single source of truth-not scattered info sources.
  • Use embedded dashboard and KPIs within existing forms to get answers and enhance decision-making.
Other SN related duties not listed (10%)

Work is Hybrid, requiring some days a week in our Fairfax VA office.

Required Skills:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years; ServiceNow development experience in ITSM, SPM, CSM and/or equivalent
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Deep functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow configuration and implementation
  • Knowledge of JavaScript or similar scripting language
  • Experience building and coding Scoped Applications
  • Knowledge of LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure, Web Services
Desired Skills:
  • Any SN Certified Implementation Certifications or Experience
  • SN Certified Application Specialist
  • Cybersecurity Certifications such as Sec+, CISM, CISSP
  • Any ITIL Certifications or Experience
