SMT Machine Operator
Leesburg, VA
Job Description/Functions:
- Set-up and operate SMT machines and manufacture SMT assemblies
- This position performs the function of operating and/or programming surface mount assembly equipment. This includes using either a manual, semi-automatic or automatic solder paste stencil machine; loading the proper components onto Siemens Placement Machines; operating the reflow oven; operating AOI machine and performing quality inspections at each stage to ensure correct assemblies are manufactured.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Six months or more experience with SMT Functions or automated equipment. Further on the job training will be provided.
- Component identification, ability to read, follow rules/instructions, understand basic circuit assembly processes
- Must be able to read assembly documentation
- Work well with other employees as a team and pay close attention to detail and neatness
- Interface with process engineering to identify/resolve problems
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes
