Summary of Role:
This position is for a Product Integration SMTS to be a part of a Fab Integration engineering team participating in advance technology development and manufacturing implementation in GLOBALFOUNDRIES' state of the art 300mm wafer fab (Fab8) in Malta, New York.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve process integration issues and related problems
  • Develop custom or derivative processes to meet customer needs
  • Support new designs with module characterization and design rule development
  • Work with cross function teams to resolve technical & yield concerns
  • Develop and improve test structures that enable fast and rigorous characterization of process
  • Drive CIP (Continuous improvement plans) to deliver organizational goals
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements
  • Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • Master/PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering or other relevant engineering or physical science discipline.
  • Experience - Minimum of 8-10 Years Semiconductor/Fab related experience in advance technology (20nm node or below). Experience in transferring, implementing, ramping, and sustaining process technologies in a high-volume foundry manufacturing setting, with a focus on customer specific product/ technology targeting and customization, process simplification and optimization for yield improvement and cost reduction.
  • Minimal Travel
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning & organizational skills

Expected Salary Range
$99,000.00 - $187,900.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
