This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to become an impactful contributor designing and implementing tools used to support our manufacturing and service organizations.

Hyster-Yale Group is looking for a talented software engineer to help our team in the Portland, Oregon area maintain and expand our PC-based tools. The ideal candidate would have experience writing .NET application that interface directly with hardware. There is a desire to modernize some of these tools to web-based or mobile applications, so experience in one of those areas would be welcomed.

Minimum Qualifications:

B.S. in Computer Science or similar

At least 3 years of experience with:

-.NET Framework

-C#

-WPF/WCF

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience writing software to control hardware

Familiar with agile software development practices

Exposure to configuration management tools such as Git or Subversion

Familiarity with deployment tools - Wix

Some understanding of embedded software development

Mobile application development

Web development

Essential Qualities:
