Solution Architect of RPA

Reporting to the Manager, Intelligent Automation, the Solution Architect is responsible for designing efficient, resilient, scalable, secure, and reusable unattended robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that adhere to solution design best practices and support Intelligent Automation efforts across MGB teams / departments.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as Solution Architect for the Intelligent Automation team
Participate in RPA solution design process working collaboratively with internal and external teams
Support creation and maintenance of development standards such as base RPA code that can be modularized and reused, RPA ecosystem, data flow, integration and conceptual diagrams, process flows and mockups
Foster and manage a pipeline of automations to be developed by Developers
Maintain technical expertise in 1 or 2 core technical domains (i.e., RPA process development, workflow optimization, code review) and support cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions to customers effectively
Analyze effectiveness of existing technical and business solutions; develop and implement strategies to improve those solutions
Support new technology requests and assessments by leveraging guiding principle to leverage existing platforms and reusing existing solutions where possible
Collaborate with internal technical and business resources to share best practices, evolve processes, and receive expertise as the need arises for various opportunities
Provide ad-hoc technical support to end users when issues arise that are escalated beyond standard support processes

Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
• Hybrid office and remote work schedule, requires occasional local travel to MGB sites, vendors, and/or conferences
• Hospital work environment working conditions include possible exposure to diseases or infections and may require safety gear (PPE) such as gloves and mask.
• Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
