Job Summary

Responsible for partnering with key stakeholders and driving process compliance. Works closely with internal stakeholders, as well as external suppliers, building strategic relationships to meet goals and objectives defined by the Strategic Sourcing Leader. Establishes and maintains strategic supplier relationships, lead negotiations of agreements with key suppliers, and develops and manages quarterly business reviews (QBR's) for suppliers.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF FOCUS

  • Responsible for managing the intellectual property category including technology licensing, commercial contracts and subscriptions, operational and corporate communications and data, travel, other corporate services including Human Resources, and partnering with key stakeholders and driving process compliance
  • Internal stakeholders include Information Technology, Commercial, Operations, Human Resources, Asset Reliability, Finance/Accounting, and Legal

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
  • Implements the tiered sourcing strategy that aligns with business objectives, business strategy, and industry trends.
  • Maintains industry knowledge including emerging trends, technology innovations, supplier capabilities, costs and risks.
  • Works with a variety of internal and external resources to articulate and create valuable solutions that meet DCP stakeholder long-term objectives.
  • Effectively communicates the sourcing strategy and desired results to stakeholders and business partners to ensure commitment to execution.
  • Negotiates with internal and external stakeholders to eliminate roadblocks in executing against the sourcing strategy.
  • Drives consistency and standardization across sourcing engagements by leveraging best practices and tools to improve business outcomes.
  • Leverages supplier partnerships to deliver business value and continuous improvement.
  • Partners with Technology Leads and Legal team in the negotiation of various types of IT Vendor agreements; including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) etc.
  • Manages competitive bid processes including RFP\'s, RFI\'s, RFQ\'s.
  • Develops contract negotiation strategies including key terms and conditions, performance measures, incentives, penalties, governance and financial commitments that are relevant to the relationship.
  • Leverages technology for the benefit of internal clients; recommending process improvements where applicable (for efficient cost allocations, accruals, etc.)
  • Stays abreast of market conditions and pricing trends for services.
  • Conducts market research and competitive intelligence.
  • Analyzes industry trends, including studying new business models, industry consolidations, and their potential impacts.
  • Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a similar degree field and/or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 6 years related experience is required; oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at a local level and across a broad organization
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationshipswithin and outside the organization
  • Proven change management and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Possesses financial acumen, including an ability to perform financial forecasts and projections, and prepare or review budgets and mathematical models

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Effectively interacts with all levels of management and staff internally and externally
  • Has proven proficiency with contracts, negotiations, and structuring agreements, being skilled in developing and managing service level agreements or performance measures with suppliers.
  • Uses strong risk management and assessment skills.
  • Oracle ERP and Scout RFP knowledge preferred

SPECIAL DEMANDS
  • This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel will be required.
SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this position is \$88,300 - \$145,600.
