POSITION PURPOSE:
The Technical Manager, Solution Architecture & Integration Platforms is a critical member of the Information Technology team whose primary mission is to partner with key business and IT leaders for the delivery of business solutions and integration services used to enable and support critical business functions and processes across the enterprise. This position requires expertise in areas of business operations, business processes, application & infrastructure technologies, critical business data, and key operational reporting and analytics across critical technology platforms. Responsibilities include; enterprise architecture, data architecture, integration architecture, solution development, service support, application security and IT compliance. As a manager in the company this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise wide IT strategy and is responsible for ensuring the solutions and services strategy is fully aligned and positioned to deliver compelling business value.



IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.



Experience
* 8+ years total experience in Information Technology, including minimum 5 years in management or leadership of applications teams in complex technology environments.
* 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or distribution industries.
* 5+ years of experience in systems development and project management.
* Management of all database administration (Microsoft and/or Oracle) aspects and related tasks including, but not limited to: Comprehensive overall understanding of database concepts designs and functionality, start/stop services
* Manage schemas and privileges, create compartments, provision ATP database, knowledge of SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, Microsoft Management studio, create SQL tables, views, indexes, packages, procedures, functions, operators, queues and triggers.
* Load data from files in the cloud, manage security and authentication in ATP, understand database scaling/auto scaling and high performance queries and concurrent workloads.
* understanding of Oracle data guard – disaster recovery and Database cloning/restoration.
* Ability or knowledge to communicate and do joint troubleshooting with developers.
* Database understanding and experience, preferably SQL server. Oracle on premise and ATP cloud databases, a plus.
* Experience working with audit teams and providing the applicable data from JDE.

* Extensive hands-on experience in system integration of complex application systems. (e.g. custom solutions, package solutions, Cloud, SaaS, and PaaS)
Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Deliver deep technical knowledge/support for all platform technologies including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, systems configuration, design and implementation.
* Lead the administration and monitoring of performance, reliability, security and availability of all platform technologies in alignment with industry standards and corporate requirements. Will also manage external consulting/outsourced resources as necessary to support projects and changing business needs.
* Management of all areas including, but not limited to: DBA Backup, Deployments for various business systems, performance reporting, upgrades, correction and transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling, vendor note research and application, ticket resolution with the Help Desk, application server load balancing, printer troubleshooting and spool administration, daily system checks and monitoring, disaster recovery testing, and performance tuning.
* Works with appropriate Infrastructure teams to design, implement, and support all hardware and software systems.
* Administer and execute release management for solutions deployment, application upgrades & support, system maintenance, and problem resolution for all platform components.
* Perform daily system checks of all logs and keep records to determine system usage growth, file system growth, and help plan future infrastructure requirements.
* Lead and oversee a service-oriented, customer-focused IT function that supports ongoing operations that drive efficiency, quality, customer service and growth.
* Monitor and continue to improve upon customer satisfaction and service delivery management.
* Direct the planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application eco-system that supports the company's operations and business functions.
* Establish metrics for managing IT effectiveness and for measuring the impact of IT on the business.
* Establish appropriate service levels and the processes to ensure that KPIs are met.
* Recommend and manage the allocation of resources for the planning, development and delivery of all information systems services and services.
* Sets strategy for monitoring and managing the performance of IT-related systems and services, in respect of their contribution to business performance and benefits to the business.
* Oversee root cause analysis process for all related incidents.
* Oversee problem tracking, RCA templates, post-mortems, and action item follow-up, monthly metrics.
* Review IT policies and procedures yearly to ensure they are up to date and published.
* Defines, develops and manages a comprehensive and integrated ITSM landscape, based on best-practice processes, disciplines and related toolsets.
* Collaborates with the CISO to ensure all team members embrace and apply the appropriate security strategies.
* Operates a formal governance mechanism to establish and monitor effective IT controls for the related processes and functions. Supports periodic reviews by internal audit, compliance teams and other risk-related functions as required.
* Leverages influencing and negotiation skills across IT and the enterprise to enable cost-effective and innovative shared solutions in the achievement of business goals.
* Provides strategic direction and oversight for the full life cycle of design, development, operation and support of IT systems.
* Works with HR and the IT leadership team to develop and execute workforce plans that ensure skilled resources meet current and future demand.
* Develops the maturity of solutions development and service delivery models to improve efficiency, deliver new innovations and increase collaboration with other business areas (e.g., through Agile and DevOps).
* Drives the adoption of (and commitment towards) service improvements.
* Serves on IT planning and policymaking committees; drives the development of enterprise technology standards, governance processes and performance metrics.
* Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Typically, this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

* Typically works in an office environment or occasionally on or around the manufacturing or distribution floor. The noise level is usually moderate.
* Physical Tasks:
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Lifting requirements are typically less than 20 pounds on an infrequent basis.
* Equipment Used:
* Computers, software, hardware, mouse, telephones, and other equipment as necessary. This position may work in a computer room environment where servers and other systems are located. The noise level is usually moderate.
* Reports to: Senior Manager, Solution Architecture & Integration Platforms
* Travel Requirements: Limited travel is required for this position
