RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a growing Semiconductor Company is seeking to hire a few Senior or Principal Analog IC Design Engineers in Chandler, AZ.Summary:We are working directly with the Hiring Managers on these exclusive search assignments. We have worked with these hiring managers for many years and have place quite a few engineers in their teams. The company offers competitive compensation, including base salary and Stock/RSUs. In this role, you will be involved in new product development activities. The candidate will also be responsible for designing high performance next generation DC/DC converter products and linear circuits from scratch.Responsibilities:
  • Senior PMIC Analog Design Engineers will architect, implement, and analyze trade-offs of different solutions
  • Drive transistor-level circuit design and simulation
  • Analyze system and block level circuits via simulation and modelling
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot complex integrated circuit problems in the laboratory
  • Interface with test, product and applications engineering to successfully bring new products from initial concept through production release
  • Oversee and support physical layout
  • Senior PMIC Analog Design Engineers will collaborate with product definers
  • Support product datasheets
  • Mentor junior engineers


REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSEE or MSEE degree with at least 5-10+ years of relevant industry experience with a strong background in analog IC design
  • Experience with various DC/DC power conversion topologies or other type of Power Management IC design (PMIC) experience (Will also consider other types of Analog IC Design experience)
  • Strong experience with DC/DC Power Converter design
  • Knowledge of general lab equipment
  • Strong understanding of device physics
  • Familiar with mixed-signal design, simulation, and modelling
  • Motivated, results oriented, creative problem solver and team player
  • Experience with Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), Buck or Boost or both is highly desired
  • Understanding of IC Layout is a plus


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
