Sr. Software Engineer

Job Summary:

The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the development of Mueller's data and information architecture on AWS Cloud. This position will be a key contributor leading and facilitating Mueller's transformation from hosted infrastructure to the cloud.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  Work with feature teams to deliver new components, modules and libraries.
  
• 
  Leverage our large robust API's.
  
• 
  Diagnose and fix bugs as well as performance bottlenecks.
  
• 
  Maintain code and write automated e2e tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality
  
• 
  Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospectives
  
• 
  Additional responsibilities as assigned by Sr. Director of Engineering
  

Qualifications:

• 
  4+ years of experience developing commercial software
  
• 
  BS CE, or CS or similar degree
  
• 
  Deep experience with modern Angular (8+) SPA development
  
• 
  Fluent in both TypeScript and Javascript, with the latest language standards
  
• 
  Knowledge of ReactiveX programming patterns and working knowledge in RxJS
  
• 
  Understanding Redux architecture pattern and knowledge in building angular apps with NgRx
  
• 
  Experience with Kendo UI components is a plus
  
• 
  Understanding of REST APIs, OAuth, WebSockets, etc.
  
• 
  Fluent in both JavaScript and Python, with the latest language standards
  
• 
  Knowledge of SQL required: MySQL & PSQL
