HYBRID STAFF ACCOUNTANT: DETAILS
Title: Hybrid Staff Accountant
Location: Nashville TN - Metro center area
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $50k-55k + Full Benefits
Type: Direct Hire
Hours: 8am-5pm | Monday-Friday
Hybrid: You will have the ability to work 3 days from home and 2 days in the office
REQUIREMENTS: HYBRID STAFF ACCOUNTANT
* Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* 1-4 years of work experience in the accounting, finance, AP / AR, etc. space
* Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
* Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, G-Suite with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets, Infinium AS400 experience a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES: HYBRID STAFF ACCOUNTANT
* Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and review of monthly client financial statements in accordance lease and management agreements; maintain financial reports, records, and general ledgers; perform general bookkeeping; as well as other accounting-oriented duties.
* Perform monthly review of revenue and expenses related to net profit/loss, with focus on lease rents and management fees
* Timely client distributions related to contractual commitments, including advances, cost of contract, monthly/quarterly/annual distributions, and
* reimbursable/non-reimbursable expenses
* Prepare monthly client financial statements, bank reconciliations, and financial reports
* Perform monthly account analysis, including accrual or receivable/payable balances
* Provide detailed analysis and explanations of all transactions, including status of aging receivables
* Provide quarterly support to Corporate Accounting Department with general ledger account analysis for external auditors
* Regularly maintain reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
* Prepare monthly accounting entries
* Complete ad hoc projects as assigned
