Title: Staff Accountant
Pay:$28-32/hr
Hours: 8am-5pm

Job Duties:
Journal entries to General Ledger for month end closing
Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
Knowledge of AP to research Discrepancies
Applies all cash receipts, makes adjustments and/or deletions in company accounting software.
Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing data. Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Prepares journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Responds to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assists with internal and external audits.
Provides assistance to both the Assistant Controller and Controller providing assistance as needed on month end processes and any special projects.
Performs the cycle counts on company warehouse locations on a scheduled/regular basis. Ensures inventory reporting is accurate and reported accordingly.) (Nice to have)
You will also provide aide to the Assistant Controller in producing, reconciling and delivering timely and accurate financial information used for company. reporting and presentation.

Position Requirements:
3+ years Staff Accountant
Advanced Excel Skills(Pivot tables, VLookups, Filtering/Sorting, SUM function)
Depreciation schedules
Bachelors in Accounting (required)
Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
Must be able to pass a background and Drug Screen
