Ultimate Staffing is looking for Stockroom, Shipping, and Receiving Clerk to support our client in Scotts Valley, CA. This role is onsite, pay is $20-25/hour and offers the opportunity to join a company with an amazing culture who is close to the Beach!

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stockroom, Shipping, and Receiving Clerk. The primary responsibilities of this role include managing inventory, receiving shipments, organizing stockroom spaces, and preparing outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.

• Accurately record received items into inventory management system and update stockroom records accordingly.

• Organize and maintain stockroom spaces to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of inventory items.

• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records.

• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking items from stockroom, packing them securely, and creating shipping labels.

• Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments as needed.

• Communicate with suppliers regarding shipment statuses, discrepancies, or other issues.

• Assist with the organization and execution of periodic inventory audits.

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders and meet shipping deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a stockroom, shipping, or receiving role preferred.

• Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to handling and storing inventory.
