Strategic Pricing Specialist

Basic Job Functions:

The Strategic Pricing Specialist works cooperatively and collaboratively in a friendly matter with the external sales team and other business teammates to support the sales process with a focus on achieving optimal price and volume. This role is responsible for proving key insights, maintaining pricing processes, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and continuing improvement of the strategic pricing program. The Strategic Pricing Specialist cultivates relationships throughout the organization and with customers to improve profitability and pricing processes. Criteria for consideration includes professional phone skills, excellent computer skills, ability to coordinate, organize, and multi-task projects related to the Sales and Finance departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Analytical, evaluative and data-driven mindset
• Communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong financial base in understanding costs, price, and profitability
• Microsoft Office proficiency- specifically Excel
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
• Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and develop dynamic pricing tools

• Experience in sales/pricing analysis
• Experience with building products or manufacturing
• Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders
• Experience in collaborating on pricing strategies with sales and marketing departments
• Demonstrates complex problem resolution proficiency and the ability to identify/implement process and system enhancements
• Experience with Power BI or SQL databases
• Bachelor's degree in economics, business, accounting, finance or related field
