Midway University seeks applicants for the position of Student Accounts Representative. Successful applicants will possess excellent customer service skills, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and cashier experience. The position reports to the Director of Student Accounts and is responsible for taking payments from students, answering questions about student accounts for both students and parents as applicable, and assist in the collection of past due balances.Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take payments from students, parents, and outside scholarship agencies for payment on student accounts
• Prepare Excel reports to track payment status on student accounts
• Prepare aging reports using Ellucian Colleague
• Reconcile student accounts for accurate charges and payments
• Assist in the collection of past due student accounts

Qualifications:High school diploma or GED is required. Associate or higher preferred. Minimum of two years relevant work experience as cashier is preferred. Demonstrated skills and experience in data entry are required. Excellent written, customer service and oral communications skills are a must. Proficiency in Word and Advanced Excel is required. Prior experience with Ellucian Colleague is preferred.Qualified applicants must possess excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and can handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until this position is filled.
