Location: Chandler, AZ 85224 (Hybrid in-office model, 3 days a week)
Contract Duration: 12 months (potential for extension or conversion)
The Supply Chain Communications Manager plays a critical role in ensuring effective communication within the supply chain management function. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, refining content, and adhering to brand standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex communication projects.
Responsibilities:
- Review and refine communication content to ensure clarity and conciseness from the reader's perspective.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve messaging effectiveness.
- Assess and identify impacted audiences and relevant email addresses for communication distribution.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage across all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of current writing and brand standards specific to the organization (CLIENT).
- Provide guidance on maintaining consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Obtain final approval for communication materials before distribution.
- Share leadership or partner previews as appropriate.
- Handle communication distribution from the SCM Communications mailbox.
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.
- Streamline communication processes by providing guidance on message consolidation, consistency, and template usage.
- Promote efficient communication practices.
- Lead communication initiatives related to supply chain management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute projects successfully.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint (PP), Word, Excel, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
- Utilize these tools effectively for communication and collaboration.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Demonstrate initiative and self-reliance.
- Conduct surveys to gather feedback and insights.
- Facilitate new process rollouts within the SCM function.
- Support change initiatives by communicating updates.
- Handle broad communication requests.
- Consult on distribution lists impacted by changes.
- Audit draft content to ensure clarity and alignment with communication goals.
- Uphold CLIENT Brand standards in all communications.
- Obtain necessary approvals for communication materials.
- Engage with SCM employees, executives, and third-party vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Communications, or related field.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and industry terminology.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
