Candidate will maintain and monitor our information technology systems and networks, perform both technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer and network systems, and serve as a liaison between tier 1 support and the executive team. The Systems Administrator will assist in instituting policies and procedures for the use of IT across departments and projects, create and maintain documentation and diagrams, will recommend the most suitable IT choices, and will provide technical support or training for systems and networks.

Responsibilities

• Day to day support of 100+ Windows servers, including related applications.
• Support and administration of Active Directory, managing access control policies accounts, implement security procedures and tools.
• Deploy, engineer, and optimize enterprise class, technology-based systems.
• Configure and install systems hardware or software and maintain server and domain security requirements.
• Troubleshooting system and network issues through root-cause analysis and implementing solutions.
• Plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
• Ensure systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency.
• Maintain systems configuration and manage the installation and integration of system fixes, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Provide premier technical assistance to internal trouble ticket requests and accurately document the path to resolution.
• Maintain and update network and systems documentation.
• Analyze, design, and document server disaster recovery and fail-over technical solutions.
• Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules.
• Assist with inv entory tracking and maintaining accountability of equipment.
• Provide on-call support as part of a sc heduled rotation with other team members for the company's mission critical systems.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Systems Administrator or similar role
• Knowledge of virtual environments including VMWare
• Familiarity with OS-level tools, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, including the creation/deletion of user accounts, devices and policies.
• Server administration including Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019
• Experience in applying patches and updates for Windows servers and clients
• Knowledge of managing and troubleshooting network switches, routers, access points and other network devices
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Knowledge of redundancy strategies and disaster recovery contingency planning
• Solid experience in technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Self-motivated, able to make independent choices, free from immediate direction or supervision
• Highly organized, detail orientated, can shift priorities easily
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional customer service orientation
• Ability to articulate technical information to non-technical users

Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications (CompTIA Network +, CompTIA Security+, etc.)
• PowerShell knowledge and experience
• Administration of on-premise and cloud-hosted PBX systems

Pay Range is $44/HR -$50/HR based on level of skills and experience
