RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Tax Associate in Boston, Massachusetts (MA). The client is an asset management company. This an opportunity to work for a great company with extremely smart and talented employees. This role will work in a hybrid schedule, 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote. The client requires employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. • Tax Associate will handle tax compliance matters
• Prepare tax return workpapers
• Respond to tax notices and information requests
• Develop and maintain best practices
• As a Tax Associate, you will manage and maintain the tax reporting system
• Assist with income tax planning and projections
• Maintain tax projection files
• Perform projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-4 years of accounting experience, Big 4 experience is preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Python is preferred
• Reporting experience is preferred
