$94,570.00-$157,616.00 AnnualThis is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
Pay within this range with vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.

Position Overview

We are looking for a technical leader passionate about getting to know how Hypertherm customers use our products and who has a desire to positively impact the technical service team and the team's technology skills growth and evolution. You will be part of a technical leadership team accountable for tech service responsiveness while resolving product problems and building strong partner, customer, and internal technical team relationships across all current and future products, wherever they may take us as an organization. Your team of technicians and support specialists will look to you for guidance, coaching, development, and leadership in driving improvements every day on customer-facing processes or on products when customer issues come up.

Who you are and the experience you bring:

•Balance workload and schedule resources to focus on mission critical tasks and projects without compromising ability to serve daily customer demand

•Continuously assess and improve teams' capacity and capability vs current and future technology and business demands

•Coach team in conflict management. Understand and drive escalation processes through resolution while balancing customer advocacy, company policies and long term profitability

•Interface with sales, field service, global service, engineering and manufacturing departments to raise awareness to issues, expedite resolutions, define and execute countermeasures.

•Collaborate with peer leaders in establishing and sharing best practices, talent development, performance management and strategy execution.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

•BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

•Industrial product technical expertise; waterjet experience is a bonus

•5+ years in Product Engineering, 2+ years of formal or informal leadership

•Customer service knowledge and experience
