Apply now for the position of Technical Financial Analyst and join our team as a key contributor to the dynamic North America Performance Controlling team by bridging the gap between financial analysis and IT. The role reports to the Senior Director, Finance (Management Reporting, Planning & Analytics) and will support the company's strategy by leveraging financial insights and technical expertise to develop, enhance, and maintain financial models, reports, and systems that support business decisions. This role will have the opportunity to drive automation competence and digitalization initiatives within the North America Community.

This is a hybrid position in our Malvern, PA office that combines financial analysis and technical IT capabilities.

Your Role:

Financial Analysis

  • Design and implement integrated financial management reporting and dashboarding to support business decision making, using advanced visualization techniques and analytics.
  • Support North America Management with executive presentations and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Collaborate with operational expense team and business line controllers to improve planning and reporting processes.
  • Perform critical analysis and review on P&L actual performance and forecast changes and identify actions/measures needed to achieve business targets.
IT Responsibilities
  • Support financial closing process through administration of NAM company-wide financial planning tool (Jedox), ensure smooth data flow and accurate data for reporting.
  • Lead digitalization competence development and initiatives within Performance Controlling team and best practice sharing within the North America finance community.
  • Power user of the financial planning tool (Jedox) and support internal training to Finance community.
  • Collaborate with IT, data analytics team, business finance teams and external vendor to implement new planning and reporting features.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies regarding data analytics and financial modelling, pioneer new solutions in NAM finance organization and lead change management processes.
Your Expertise:
  • Experience in python, SQL, or other coding languages.
  • Financial data visualization tools such as Knime, Qlik, Tableau or Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of SAP General Ledger and Financial Reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Experience with financial system implementation and administration.
Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related discipline required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong focus on technical and IT aspects.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, automation, and digitalization.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to assist on decision making.
  • Effective collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills; excellent professional judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
