Position Overview:

AKBA is currently looking to recruit and hire a Technical Training Coordinator, based in our Chelmsford, MA office, to maintain and manage customer facing aspects of our MTC (Massachusetts Training Center), including technical training, internal and external course curricula, and product demonstrations in fulfillment of company sales and technical objectives. The Training Coordinator will work to develop a unique and positive aesthetic for customer presentations and courses that is befitting of a global leader in filtration products. This individual will provide training and administrative support to customers and account managers along with assistance to various MTC activities, field events, and company functions. Job Responsibilities:
  • Be involved in the planning and execution of Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America classes and demonstrations - this includes curricula generation and maintenance along with giving of presentations.
  • Maintain and develop high quality visuals that present Asahi Kasei Planova products positively to customers - this includes studio and camera equipment operation and management.
  • Provide direct support to Account Managers particularly with customer interactions and relationship development.
  • Conduct and report on customer evaluations and in-person AKBA employee laboratory trainings, as directed.
  • Welcome visitors and coordinate their arrival with courtesy and professionalism
  • Employ appropriate judgment to properly organize and facilitate information management at the MTC
  • Host visitors to our facility (schedule meeting rooms, manage hotel reservations, reserve ground transportation, order meals for guests)
  • Receive and appropriately distribute mail/packages and coordinate shipment.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Education: BS/BA preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in a biomedical or medical role. (Biotechnology company preferred.)
  • Experience: Familiarity/training on bioprocessing, quality and safety objectives.
  • Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis package.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation
