Overview

Steampunk is searching for a Training Analyst to support a government customer on site in Washington, DC. The primary responsibilities for the position are to build an internal training and awareness program that standardizes ISSO business processes across the customer.

The nature of the work requires that the candidate demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with agency stakeholders to develop and maintain a training program for educating federal and contract personnel on agency specific processes and policies related to Risk Management. This requires an individual with customer service skills, and the ability to be flexible and adaptive to a fast-paced, fluid business environment. The candidate must also be able to communicate effectively and decisively with all levels of the organization and be able to solve practical problems as well as exercise sound judgement with regards to sensitive and confidential information.
Contributions

Contributions

  • Develop methods and materials for training staff and prepare curriculum such as lectures, ideas for group discussions, demonstrations, training presentations, and workshops
  • Anticipate, develop, maintain, and deliver an ongoing ISSO training program to educate federal and contract personnel on agency specific processes and policies
  • Maintain training program as the customer's architecture and technical reference model evolves, including emerging programs like DevOps, Cloud, Agile, etc..
Qualifications

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of training experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of training experience OR
  • 7 years of training experience OR
  • Master's Degree in a related field and 2 years of training experience
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to develops courses and instructional material to educate technical and non-technical personnel
  • Experience developing training for risk management and cybersecurity programs
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain a Public Trust
